Humidity Monitoring

Long or short term monitoring of humidity can be undertaken to provide a detailed record of the environmental conditions:

• Within assemblies.
• Within enclosures.
• Within overall buildings.

External humidity can also be recorded if benchmarking is felt necessary.

Infra-Red Thermographic Surveys

Infra-red thermographic surveys can be undertaken to identify moisture build up within envelope assemblies. Moisture within an assembly has a significant impact on its overall thermal performance and infra-red thermography can be used to identify any such performance failures. This technique is particularly useful in flat roof assemblies where moisture within the insulant can be readily established. By accurately identifying such moisture, targeted maintenance works can be undertaken.
