Building Sciences can undertake various non-destructive testing ranging in scale from laboratory-based component testing through to on-site whole-building testing. Our services are used throughout the construction chain to prove compliance with specification requirements or to benchmark against best practice.

All testing is undertaken in accordance with recognised national and international standards.

Our range of testing services includes: -

  1. HEAT
    • Infra-red thermographic surveys to confirm insulation continuity (Part L compliance)
    • Temperature monitoring(air/surface)
    • In situ U-value measurement.
  2. AIR
    • Pressurisation testing of whole buildings, specialist enclosures, floor voids and components (e.g. doors, windows etc).
    • Indoor air quality measurement/assessment
    • Differential pressure monotoring
  3. MOISTURE
    • Humidity monitoring,
